UNIONVALE--Ennis M. Alderman, 68, a life-long resident of near Dayton, died February 27 at the McMinnville hospital following an attack of septic sore throat. He was born July 20, 1870 on the farm now occupied by E. M. Maxwell. He had been a prominent farmer here 46 years. He was united in marriage to Miss Geneva LaFevre, April 30, 1893.
Surviving are his widow, one son, Urie, and one daughter, Mrs. John Shelburne, all of Dayton; one brother, Lewis R. Alderman of Chevy Chase, Maryland; one sister, Mrs. Ora Powell of Portland.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Macy's Chapel in McMinnville. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, McMinnville.
