Carol M. Belmont, 67, 1761 State Route 420, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011, unexpectedly at her home.
Carol was born February 21, 1944 in Utica, the daughter of Robert and Charmion Boyle Allman. She was a graduate of Romulus High School.
Carol worked for the Mohawk Trail bus service in Frankfort from 1971 - 1987. She owned and operated H & R Block services in Norwich, NY for many years before moving to Massena. She currently was the owner and operator of the H & R Block services in Massena and Ogdensburg.
Traveling in her motor home was her passion. She was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association. Carol always enjoyed her work and was a very talented lady.
She is survived by her mother, Charmion Dinsmore of Fayette, NY; two sons and daughter-in-laws, William and Lisa Fridley of Frankfort, NY and Richard and Amy Pento of Liverpool, NY; three grandchildren, three sisters, and three brothers.
Carol was predeceased by a son, Michael in 1970.
Friends may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 1 - 3 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Fayette Cemetery, Fayette, NY.
Memorial contribution may be made to a charity of one's choice.
