BROWNWOOD, (RNS) --- Floy(d) Maynor, 73 of Brownwood, died at 5:43 a.m.
Wednesday at his home. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Davis-Morris Chapel.
The Rev. R. J. Elkins pastor of the Avenue D Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial
will be in the Zephyr Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.
Mr. Maynor was born Sept. 18, 1900, at Zephyr, and was a retired farmer and
carpenter. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Zephyr Masonic Lodge,
and was a past master of that lodge. He married Dorece Stovall Dec. 18, 1927, at
Zephyr.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Harley R. of Brownwood and Charles F.
of Brownwood; two brothers, Q.U. of Brownwood and J. D. of Portland, Ore.;
five sisters, Mrs. Ellena Edwards of Waurika, Okla., Mrs. Berra Murphy of
Weatherford, Mrs. Annie Grimes of Olton, Mrs. Evelyn Kornegar of Modesto,
Calif. and Mrs. Irene Mayes of Early; and five children.
