A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, in Wilhelm Funeral Home for John D. Maynor, who died Feb. 20 at age 84.
Mr. Maynor was born June 22, 1913, in Zephyr, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received a Silver Star and Bronze Star. He was a building superintendent and a member of the Lents Seventh-day Adventist Church. He had lived in Portland since 1945. His wife, Violet, died in 1995. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery in Oregon City.
