The funeral of Thomas C. Cannon, who died Thursday at his father's residence, Twenty-second and Spruce streets, will be held this morning at 9 o'clock. Solemn high mass will be celebrated in Holy Family church. The deceased was the son of Martin Cannon, an old, well-known and highly respected citizen. He was one of the brightest of Omaha's young men. He was also a nephew of John A. McShane and Felix McShane, the former of whom took pleasure in referring to the bright future before the young man. The deceased had a great many friends. He was a popular member of the Creighton Guards, and had an unusually strong influence with his associates. The remains will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
