Charles M. Shelhart, 89, of Richwood died at 8 a.m. today in the Union County, Hospital at Marysville. He was a native of Pulaski County, Indiana. Born March 20, 1875, he was a son of George Washington and Priscilla Alice Shidler Selhart. Step-mother Rebecca Hines Shelhart, his wife Mrs. Lilly Daniels Shelhart, died in June 1956. Surviving are a brother, Isaac of Indiana, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Galbreath of St Joseph, Michigan. The body was brought to the Winter Funeral Home here.
Note: Charles Mother Priscilla died 4 days after his birth.
In 1877 , Charles Father George Washington Shelhart married Rebecca Lucinda Hines and she helped raise him.
