Mrs. Rachel Ann Bell, 89, widow of James Bell, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 10, 1948, at the home of her son George Inghram, 168 East Lincoln street. Death was due to a heart attack.
A native of Franklin Township, she was born April 6, 1859, a daughter of William and Rebecca Jane Smith Lippencott, and spent all her life in Franklin Township and Waynesburg. She was a member of the Morrisville Methodist Church. She was twice married. Her first husband, William A. Inghram, died in 1907, and for her second husband she married James Bell, also deceased.
