Mother Of Midlothian Woman Dies
Mrs. Connie Skipper, 76, mother of Mrs. Shirley Hocutt of Midlothian, died August 6, at her home in Waxahachie.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 8, at Rudloph-Owens Chapel in Waxahachie with Minister Jim Boggs officiating. Interment followed in the Sardis Cemetery.
Mrs. Skipper was born on May 11, 1898 in Ozro and had lived in Waxahachie all of her life. She was a member of the Southside church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Skipper, in 1969.
Survivors in addition to Mrs. Hocutt include four other daughters; two sons; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
