Elmira Eldora Duncklee was born April 26, 1872, at Shellsburg and died at her home near Central City, Iowa, April 11, 1926, after an illness of only ten days, at the age of 53 years, 11 months and 16 days.
She was married to George Keyes December 13, 1891, and to the union were eleven children, three of them dying in infancy, two sons and one daughter.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and eight children, Mrs. Ethel Fish, Shellsburg, Iowa, Mrs. Frank Livermore, Mediapolis, Iowa, Mrs. Leo Rogers Center Point, Iowa, Mrs. Charles Heiden, Palo, Iowa, Mrs. John Christensen, Marion, Iowa, Bessie, Herbert and Paulina at the home, and seven granchildren.
She united with the christian church early in life.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.H. Heverly at the Christian church, Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in the Center Point cemetery.
