Mrs. Math Schmitz, 70, Glenbeulah, died this morning at the Plymouth Hospital.
She was born Oct. 28, 1896, in Decada, daughter of the late Sebastian and Helen Meyer. On Oct. 21, 1924, she was married to Mathew Schmitz at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Decada. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Greenbush. In 1955 they moved to Glenbeulah. She was a member of St. Fredolin Catholic Church, Glenbeulah, and a member of the Christian Mother's Society of the church and also a member of the Christian Mother's Society of Armstrong Catholic Church.
She is survived by her widower; one daughter, Miss Mary Schmitz, Sheboygan; one son, Joseph, Town of Greenbush; and five sisters, Sister Cherubina, Campbellsport, Mrs. Nick Rassel, Decada, Mrs. John Jacque, Port Washington, Mrs. Mary Kraus, Belgium, and Mrs. Mike Thill, Fredonia.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services are tentatively set for Saturday morning at St. Fredolin's Catholic Church in Glenbeulah.
