"The death angel visited in this vicinity Jan. 11, taking Mr. Dudley Pyles from our midst. Mr. Pyles was 77 years old and is survived by his children, Mrs. Zella Girkey, Mrs. Nana Weddle, Mrs. Nellie Johnson, Mrs. Vida Johnson, and Mr. Ezra Pyles, all of Nancy; and Mr. V.K. Pyles of Piney Grove, and Miss Alta Pyles of this place. We extend sympathy to the bereaved in this sad and lonely hour."
