She was born on July 31, 1916 in Watertown, daughter of the late Francis and Josephine Weiers Schleicher. On September 17, 1938 she married Jacob Mallinger at St. George Catholic Church in Six Corners. The couple farmed in the Town of Belgium for many years. Angeline also worked as a sewing machine operator at Allen-Edmonds in Lake Church for many years.
Mrs. Mallinger is a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church and a former member of the Christian Women. She also enjoyed needlework, crocheting, canning, playing cards and she loved dancing.
Angeline is survived by 4 sons, Thomas (Mary) of Austin, TX, Robert (Kathy) of Warren, OH, Gene (Rebecca) of Brookfield, and Herb (Susan) of Franklin. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers Jerome (Evelyn) Schleicher, Ralph (Mary Alice) Schleicher and Leo (Katherine) Schleicher all of Six Corners, 1 sister-in-law Ann Schleicher of Six Corners, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday evening, June 19, 2003 at 7 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church with father James Ernster officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the CHURCH on Thursday from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the American Cancer Society. Eernisse Funeral Home, Belgium is assisting the family.
