Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the White Oak Church, the Rev. W.F. Dobbs officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Pyles is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Garner Pyles; two daughters, Mrs. Lorene McLin and Miss Pauline Pyles, both of Nancy; four sons, Earl, who is in the army in Tennessee, Dennie who is in the Army in Oregon, Killis and Lawrence, both of Nancy; a brother, Ezra Pyles of Nancy, and five sisters, Mrs. Virge Weddle, Mrs. W.G.
