Robert C. Solomon Sr., 87, who had been a fire-equipment distributor, died Oct. 17, 1983 at Las Flores Nursing Center.
Mr. Solomon, of Mesa, was born in Palmyra, Ill. He graduated from Eureka (Ill.) College in 1922 and served in the Army in World War I. He was a Boy Scout leader, member of the Elks Lodge and a Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; sons, Robert Jr. and Richard; and four grandchildren. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Chapel of Prayer Funeral Home, 108 N. 56th St.
