‘Joe’ Clendon Sexton age 74 of Huntsville, Tennessee, departed this life on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital.
Born January 10, 1938 to Burchfield and Lillie Mae Byrge Sexton. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Neil Sexton, Doyle Sexton, and Bennie Sexton; and one sister Pauline Sexton Acres.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Lane Sexton; sons Joe Clendon Sexton Jr., Randy Sexton and James Sexton all of Huntsville, Billy Ray Sexton of Georgia; five grand children April Day and husband Shane, Adam Sexton , Matthew Butts, LeAnn Sexton all of Huntsville and Tenisha Burress of Virginia; 9 great grand children, many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
Friends may visit with Sexton family on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at West-Murley Funeral Home Huntsville Chapel. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. at West-Murley Funeral Home Huntsville Chapel with Brother Kyle Keeton officiating.
Interment will follow in the Potter Cemetery. Music will be provided by Daniel Murley. Pall bearers will be Tony Sexton, Roger Sexton, Gary Sexton, Scott Pemberton, Carlos Jeffers, Ben Litton, Donnie Phillips, Will Barnes, Shannon Byrd.
