-David's death certificate indicates that at the time of his death, his wife's name was Milindia Hoch. No other reference to a Milindia Hoch has been found.
-Susan's death certificate indicates that she was the widow of Walter M Hoch. No other reference to a Walter M Hoch has been found. Susan's death certificate was filled out by their daughter Laura (who married John Austin). Laura's marriage license lists her parents as David Hoch & Susan Bathgate.
Despite the inconsistency in the death certificates, the marriage license proves the marriage. Their death certificates indicate that they are both buried at Fogelsonger's Church (now Ridge Church Cemetery).
