Born Jan. 7, 1931, at Jumping Branch, she was the daughter of the late Eldridge and Oma Williams Ellison.
Mrs. Dobbins was a member of Grace Baptist Church at Sand Knob Rd., near Nimitz, she was a former C&P telephone employee with 22 years of service and was a lifelong resident of Nimitz.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Roy L. Dobbins, a son, Dale Dobbins of Nimitz; a daughter, Deborah Cales, and her husband David of Nimitz; five grandchildren, Stacy and Joshua Dobbins and Michael, Eric, and Rochella Cales; a brother, Eldridge "Whitey" Ellison Jr. and his wife Wilma of Hinton; and two sisters, Jean Harvey and her husband Lloyd of Nimitz, Margie Allen and her husband Grover, of Hilldale.
Graveside rites were held at 11 a.m. Fri., July 12th at Crews Cemetery at Nimitz with Rev. Dan Spencer officiating.
