Obituary:
Mrs. Valentina Staccone, 70, of 2213 Boyd Street, widow of Phillip Staccone, Sr., died today, Thursday, Sept. 8, 1966, in the Divine Providence Hospital.
She was born Dec. 14, 1895 in Italy.
She was a member of the Church of the Ascension.
Surviving are six sons, Lewis, Armand, Dale and Phillip Jr., all of the city, James, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Joseph of Hyattsville, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Sepe, Mrs. Mollie Bennett, Mrs. Mary McConnell and Mrs. JoAnn Paucke, all of the city; a half-brother, Edward Stacconi, Sharon; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The funeral for Mrs. Valentina Staccone, of 2213 Boyd Street, will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday in the Church of the Ascension. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Staccone residence after 1 p.m. Sunday. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8:30 p.m.
