Funeral services for Mrs. Alex Buhk, 1626 Martin Ave., who died Wednesday at St. Nicholas Hospital at the age of 70, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels.
A native of Manitowoc County, the former Rose Quante was born June 2, 1896, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Quante. She moved to Sheboygan after her marriage to Joseph Hoffman. He died in 1962.
She was married May 5, 1966, to Alex Buhk in Sheboygan.
She was a member of the Home Folks Club and the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Surviving beside her husband, are one son, Jerome Hoffman, Arlington, Ill.; a step-son, Marvin Buhk, Dallas, Texas; one step-daughter, Mrs. Melvin Stugart, Sheboygan; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Christal, St. Nazianz, and Miss Elizabeth Quante, Chicago, and two brothers, Edmon Quante of Withee, Wis., and August Quante, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Victor Pera, assistant pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church will officiate at the services Saturday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
