Mrs Emerald W Wilson passed away at the family home, 465 N Kenoak Drive, Pomona, at 5:20 o'clock Thursday morning after an illness of one week.
Mrs Wilson was born 22 Apr 1864, in Lakeport, Mi and came to California from Kansas in 1908, making her home in Los Angeles for the last 30 years. She came to Pomona 5 years ago to make her home with her daughter, Miss Jean H Wilson, who is a teacher at Emerson Jr high school. Besides the above mentioned daughter, Mrs Wilson is survived by another daughter, Mrs Evelyn Lyday, Hollywood, a brother, Hugh Whiting, Mt Clemens, Mi, and two sisters, Mrs Ruby Knight, Mt Clemens, Mi, and Mrs Jennie Whiting. There are also four grandchildren.
Funeral sevices will be held from the Todd and Reeves chapel at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev J R Stead will officiate. Entombment will be made in the Pomona mausoleum by the side of her husband David J Wilson who passed away in 1940.
