Nellie Frances, 70, widow of Grover Lee Ford, 908 Hamilton Blvd., Hagerstown, died at her home Monday evening after a brief illness.
She was born at St. James, daughter of the late Charles T. and Isabel Wolf Mumma. She was a member of St. Paul's EUB Church of Hagerstown and a member of Eastern Star of Washington, D.C.
She is survived by sisters, Mrs. Gussie E. Shiffler, Boonsboro; Mrs. Emma C. Emmert, Miss M. Ella Mumma, Miss Catherine I. Mumma, Miss Blanche A. Mumma, all of Hagerstown; Mrs. Lucille M. Hoover, Funkstown; brother, C. Albert Mumma, Sharpsburg.
Services will be held from the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Vance M. Dimmick officiating. Burial in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening 7 to 9 PM.-------------------------
