Annette Holliday Coles, age 90, of Singleton Ridge Road died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Conway Medical Center following an illness.
Miss Coles was born in Conway, a daughter of the late John Edmunds and Winifred Holliday Coles.
She was a 1942 graduate of Coker College and devoted her life to teaching. Miss Coles was active in the Azalea Garden Club and Daughters of the American Revolution and Horry County Historical Society.
Surviving are: one brother, John E. Coles and wife Jean of Murrells Inlet; two nieces, Elizabeth "Buff" Coles of Charleston, SC and Harriett Coles Crockard and her husband Paul of Birmingham, AL; great nephews, Porter and John Crockard and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Burial will be private in Lakeside Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff and caregivers of Emeritus at Conway Place and Conway Medical Center.
Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
