Wenzel Chermak died at his home at Tisch Mills Tuesday morning. He attended a party and while there was taken suddenly ill. Assistance was summoned and he was conveyed to his home. Upon arrival at the home, it was found that the patient was unconscious and he remained in that condition until the time of his death a few hours later. It was a severe shock to the family and Mrs. Chermak is nearly crazed with grief.
Deceased was born in Austria in 1870 and came to this country when but a child. He was industrious and by economy, he had succeeded in laying up a comfortable competence. He conducted the hotel at Tisch Mills and was well known in this city. A wife and two children survive him. Anton Chermak, of this city, is a brother of the deceased. The funeral was held at Tisch Mills this afternoon.
