He is survived by his wife Marquita of the home, his son, William Keith Hatfield and wife Sharon, Tulsa OK, daughter Heather Vaillancourt and husband William of Greenbrier AR. Grandsons: William Matthew Hatfield, Jonathan Keith Hatfield, Joshua Grant Hatfield, and Benjamin Russell Vaillancourt. Granddaughters: Sarah Dougherty, Elisabeth Thompson, Charity Hatfield and Joy Vaillancourt. Mr. Hatfield is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, two surviving brothers, Burl Click of Prestonsburg, KY and Monroe Click of Calf Creek KY and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hatfield was a retired test car driver for Ford Motor Company where he worked at Ford's Dearborn Proving Grounds.
He was the last surviving grandchild of the Hatfield leader William Anderson (Devil Anse) Hatfield. Mr. Hatfield's father was Tennyson S. Hatfield the youngest of Devil Anse and Levicy children.
Brother Hatfield and his wife retired to Greenbrier from Michigan in 1994. They joined Faith Baptist Church and had been proud members there for the last 18 years. He served his Lord for nearly 60 years. He was beloved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
The family will be available for visitation and viewing at Faith Baptist Church on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.
Services , under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home, will be at Faith Baptist Church at 11 a.m. of Saturday, July 7, 2012.
