Fond du Lac Reporter, Mon. Feb. 27, 1978, p. 28, c. 3. Mrs. Julia A. Wuest, 83, formerly of 15 N. Marr St., died at 6:55 p.m. Sun., Feb. 26, 1978, at Rolling Meadows Home for the Aged, where she resided for the past three years. She was born July 4, 1894, at Mt. Calvary, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Koenen Olig. On Nov. 24, 1914, she was married to Edward Wuest at Mt. Calvary, and he died in 1962. Mrs. Wuest was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Altar Society and Third Order of St. Francis. Survivors include three sons, Edward, Bernard and Raymond all of Fond du Lac; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Wittkopf, Mrs. Alice Hinkley and Mrs. Al (Jane) Meisel all of Fond du Lac; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, Joseph Olig of Mt. Calvary and Alfred Olig of Fond du Lac; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wuest and Mrs. Amelia Haensgen both of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by a daughter, two grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Donald Schmidt will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
