MABEL F. ALLEN
Mrs. Charles Allen Sr., 70, who had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs.
George Kadow of 1511 South 35th St., Manitowoc, died late Saturday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Frazier Mortuary,
Manitowoc. Dr. C.H. Phipps will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
She was born Mabel Houghton in Manitowoc in 1881 and in 1902 was married to Mr.
Allen. The latter died 12 years ago.
She was a member of the Lois Society and the Women's Benefit Association.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Kadow, Mrs. John Meyer, Jr., and Mrs.
Orville Eichman all of Manitowoc; two sons, Paul and Charles Jr., of Manitowoc;
two brothers, Charles and Walter of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. August Baeckman
of Manitowoc and Mrs. Jay Serles of West Allis; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
