Peter Stienstra was born on June 8, 1894 in Beetgumermolen, Friesland, Netherlands. He came to America in 1914 and farmed and was in the dairy business in Hull until 1948 when the family moved to California. He was united in marriage to Jessie Kroese on February 10, 1922.
He died on Dec 10, 1982 in Ontario, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jessie in 1972. He is survived by six children: Ivan of Spencer, Charles of Hull, Gerald, Helena (Mrs. Wm. Whitehurst), and Peter J. all of Redlands, Calif., and Jim of Grand Terrace, Calif, and their spouses, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Until the last months of his life, he
was an active member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Ontario, Calif. The last three years of his life were spent in the Inland Retirement Center, Ontario, Calif.
