Mrs. Emil (Emma) Diekvoss, 89, of Rt. 1, Brillion, died Friday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Zion EUB Church, Forest Junction, the Rev. Theodore Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Junction.
Mrs. Diekvoss was born June 9, 1874, in Town of Brillion, daughter of the late August and Henrietta Schubring Zietlow. She was married to Louis Rusch October, 1897, and he died in 1900. She remarried in 1902 to Emil Diekvoss, and he died in 1956. The couple farmed in the Forest Junction area all their lives.
Mrs. Diekvoss was a charter member of the Women's Society of World Service and in earlier years was a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Heisler, of Seymour and Mrs. Serena Truettner of Manitowoc; two sons, Harvey, of Rt. 1, Brillion and Edw. Rusch, also of Rt. 1, Brillion; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Six sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
