Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bethany
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Sawall will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Borgwardt was born Oct. 6, 1908, in Town of Liberty, son of the late
Christian and Mrs. Anna Luebke Borgwardt. He farmed most of his life and was
active in the Holstein Breeders Assn.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Anna Borgwardt; three brothers, Walter,
Harold and Elroy, and two sisters, Mrs. Martin Luebke and Mrs. Willard Cummings,
all of Valders. A brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Thursday until noon Friday and then at the church. Memorials in his memory may
be made to Bethany School Building Fund or for hymnals.
