GEORGE C. BRAASCH
George C. Braasch, 78, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, retired county farmer, died
Thursday night at the farm home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Theophil Uetzmann will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Braasch was born in Newton in 1874 and a few years later his parents moved
to Cato. In 1905 he married Miss Minnie Schwartz. He acquired a farm near
Newton station and 14 years ago, ??????? ?? the present homestead in
Kossuth. He retired a year ago. He was a member of the Immanueal Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Myra Nelson of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, son,
Arthur; and granddaughter (private) of Rt. 5, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
