Mrs. Charles A. Brandt, 92, of 1106 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc died Sunday at
Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Brandt, nee Carrie Bolz, was born Dec. 22, 1881, at Marquette, Mich., daughter
of the late Nicholos and Helene Schuette Bolz. She was married to Charles Brandt
Oct. 1, 1903, at Manitowoc. The couple always resided at Manitowoc. Mrs. Brandt
was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a 50-year member of the Order of
Eastern Star No. 196, and a charter member of the Shrine Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. O.V. (Lucile) Titera of Hot Springs, Ark.,
and Mrs. Clyde (Helen) Christiansen and Mrs. James (Jane) Allger of Manitowoc,
two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Laura) Gerlat and Mrs. Fred (Isabel) Fesing, of Sheboygan,
five grandchildren and a great grandchild. Her husband, a son, two sisters and three
brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday until
the time of service. Eastern Star Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday
at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the Shrine Hospitals for
Crippled Children.
