Mrs. Ida Braunel, widow of the late Herman Braunel, passed away
Saturday at the family home, 911 South Eighteenth street after
a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held from the home
on Tuesday afternoon at one thirty, and at two o'clock from the
First Lutheran church, with burial at Evergreen. Rev. Ristad will
officiate.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Miss Ida Weinke, was 63 years
of age, having been born in Germany in 1867. She came here with
her parents when a child and was married to Herman Braunel in 1886.
He passed away in 1928.
Four daughters, Edna and Viola Braunel of this city, Mrs. Emma
Hippet, Ironwood, Mich., and Mrs. Ida Herbst of Milwaukee, one son,
Edwin W. of this city, one brother, Herman Weinke of Rapids, and
three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Lindemann, Mrs. Bertha Hermann and Mrs.
Anna Steffen, all of this city, survive. There are also nine
grandchildren.
