A report reached this city this morning that Mrs. Ehrhardt Brick, nee Elizabeth
Vogelsang, a sister of Fred Vogelsang, the Eighth street furniture man, and
daughter of Mrs. C.H. Vogelsang, is dead in Milwaukee.
Mrs. Brick was in apparent good health last evening. At midnight her husband
heard their three-weeks-old baby crying and went to his wife’s room to assist
in caring for the child only to find his wife dead by the side of her baby.
Death resulted from heart failure.
The remains will be brought to this city for burial.
Mr. Brick is a school teacher and for several years was engaged in teaching in
the rural schools of this county. Last September he moved with his family to
Milwaukee to take a course at the Milwaukee Normal.
