LEROY D. BRUCE
LeRoy Bruce, 44, of 623 N. Seventh St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral
Home and 10 a.m. at St Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffmann
will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Bruce was born Feb. 7, 1933, at Manitowoc, son of the late Donald Bruce and
Susan Stasiek Bruce. He was educated at St. Paul Grade School and graduated from
Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. He married Catherine LaFond June 14, 1952, at St.
Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Bruce was a maintenance mechanic at Dick
Bros. Bakery and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine, three sons, Michael, Mark and Terry, and
two daughters, Ann and Julie, at home; his mother, Mrs. Susan Bruce, a brother
Gerald, of Orlando, Fla., and three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Karen) Blashka, Miss
Bonnie Bruce and Miss Shelly Bruce, of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday,
where a prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
