ALOIS R. BUDNIK

Alois (Bud) Budnik, 81, of 925 S. 30 Street, Manitowoc, died late Monday morning,
May 16, 1988 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be
10:30 am Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St. Paul Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer
with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Budnik was born March 10, 1907 at Manitowoc, son of the late Jospeh and Veronica
Norkowski Budnik. Mr. Budnik was a lifelong Manitowoc resident. He married the former
Bessie Anna Swoboda on March 24, 1932. She preceded him in death June 17, 1986. The
couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1982. Mr. Budnik was a member
of St. Paul Catholic Church Parish and prior to his retirement he was employed at
Manitowoc Equipment Works.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Janice of Milwaukee,
James and Mary of Branch, Richard and Donna of Chilton and Alan and Judy of Manitowoc;
three brothers and a sister-in-law, Felix and Victor Budnik, both of Manitowoc and Ben
and Alice Budnik of Florida; three sisters, Ceil Koehler of Two Rivers, Susan Kaufman
of Manitowoc and Eleanor Boettcher of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren and three great
grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella and Clare.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, after 9 am Wednesday morning until the hour
of service. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation at the funeral home.
