Frank Christel Dies Hour After Reaching Hospital
Frank Christel, Valders business man, died suddenly at the Northern hospital at
Oshkosh at 1 oclock this afternoon, within an hour after his arrival at the
institution from this city.
The remains will be brought to Valders for burial.
Mr. Christel, whose actions had been strange for some time, was brought into
county court this morning on petition for examination and Judge Chloupek issued
an order sending the man to the Oshkosh hospital for treatment, physicians
believing that his trouble was temporary and that he would recover.
Accompanied by Sheriff Kiel, Deputy Meisner and County Clerk Arthur Schroeder,
Mr. Christel was taken to the hospital at once, the party arriving shortly after
noon. Before the return of Sheriff Kiel and his party this afternoon a message
was received by Judge Chloupek announcing the death of Mr. Christel.
Mr. Christel was thirty-six years of age and married. He has resided at Valders
practically all of his life and was well known, having been engaged in
