Mrs. E. S. Crowe, of 914 St. Clair street, died suddenly in her upstairs apartment.
Dr. Theodore Teitgen, county coroner, said that Gordon LaPerrier, living in the
apartment below Mrs. Crowe, went upstairs to investigate at 12:30 this afternoon
because he and other members of his family had heard the radio playing late last
night and early this morning although nothing had been seen of the woman.
Entering the apartment, LaPerriere found Mrs. Crowe lying on a couch in the living
room. Dr. Teitgen said his examination placed the time of death at about 4 p.m.
Tuesday and that it was caused by a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at the Mittnacht-Kollath funeral home Friday morning.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after Thursday noon.
