Miss Emma Duchow, 65, of Valders, died Wednesday at the Holy Family
hospital, following a lingering illness. She was brought here from
Valders, where she resided with a sister, Mrs. William Schmidt.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Berge funeral
home in Valders, the Rev. E.A. Flagstad officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery here.
Miss Duchow was born in Rantoul, Calumet county in 1877 and has resided
in Valders the past 25 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
William Duchow.
Survivors are three brothers, Adolph and Bernard, of Collins, Edward, of
Marshfield; two sisters, Mrs. Schmidt of Valders, Mrs. Herman Kletzien of
Kiel.
The body may be viewed at the Berge funeral home from Friday noon until
the hour of the services.
