MABEL Skelton-FEHRING
LOCAL WOMAN IS TAKEN BY DEATH - Mrs. Mabel Fehring Dies at Hospital After Illness

Removed to the hospital six days ago, death came to Mrs. Mabel Fehring, wife of Fireman Archie Fehring at 5:30 this morning, her demise being due to kidney trouble.

The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon from the home at 2612 Meadow Lane and burial will be at Evergreen. The Rev. A. O. White of Jerpen will officiate.

Mrs. Fehring, who was Mabel Skelton before her marriage, was born in the town of Mitchell, Sheboygan county, May 7, 1894 and was thirty-four years old at her last birthday.

She was married to Archie Fehring June 5, 1917 and has made her home in this city since that time.

Surviving her are the husband, four daughters, Althea, Mildred, Elizabeth and Phyllis, four brothers, Charles and Leonard Skelton of the town of Mitchell, Charles Skelton of Sheboygan and S. Skelton of Lodi; and three sisters, Mrs. Mike Fitzgerald of California, Mrs. Patrick Scanlon of the state of Washington
and Mrs. Hugh Carberry of Lodi

Mrs. Fehring devoted most of her time to her family and her home and was identified with no fraternal organizations other than the local Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Eagles. She made a wide circle of friends here and news of her death will come as a shock as few
were aware that she was ill.
