WILLIAM C. GREEN (d. 1947)

William C. Green Sr., 69, of A-14-R Custerdale, died last night at the Holy
Family hospital following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. John Evangelical church,
the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Green was born in 1877 in Manitowoc. He married Bertha Christensen in 1910.
Survivors are the wife; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Ce__as, Mrs. Eugene Hilka of
Manitowoc, Mrs Harry Tetzlaff of Cudahy, and Betty Ann at home; seven sons, Harold
of Cudahy, Clarence and James of Manitowoc, Calvin and Gordon in the navy,
William Jr., at home, and Robert of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Miss Ruby Green of
Manitowoc and 13 grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Pfeffer funeral home from 10:30 a.m. Thursday until
11:30 a.m. Friday when it will be moved to the church to lie in state until the
time of services.
