Richard O. Heise, 74, of 1215 Green street, died Friday night at the Holy
Family hospital, following a week's illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral
home and at 2 o'clock at the St. James Episcopal church, the Rev. F.C. St.
Clair officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Heise was born in this city in 1871 and attended local schools. Later
he enrolled and was graduated from the Spencerian Business college in
Milwaukee. For more than 30 years he had been an accountant and bookkeeper
at the Mantiwooc Ship Building company.
Fifty-one years ago Mr. Heise married Miss Sarah Golding. She died eight
years ago.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Stephen Morris of this city; son, Ervin of
this city; two brothers, Otto and Edward of this city; sister, Mrs. Joseph
Herman of this city, and four grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Sunday until
the hour of the services.
