ALMA HENDRIES
Alma Hendries, 85 formerly of 727 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. George Knutson will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Miss Hendries was born Aug. 19, 1889, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late
Christian and Fredrica Ladwig Hendries. She attended St. John Lutheran School,
Two Rivers. She had been employed at Manitowoc Knitting Mills and was a self
employed seamstress and housekeeper until her retirement.
Survivors include two nephews, Victor Hendries, of Minnetonka, Minn., and Bob
Hendries, of Seattle, Wash.; two grand nephews, Todd and Robert Jr., of Seattle
and a cousin, John Steckmesesr, of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 3 to 9 o’clock this
Tuesday evening.
