MRS. M. HINZ, 79, DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
After an illness that extended over a period of five years, when she suffered
a stroke, Mrs. Minnie Hinz, widow of the late Frederick Hinz, passed away
Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Zenk, with whom she
has been making her home at 1309 Columbus street. Burial will take place
Saturday afternoon at two o’clock from the home and at 2:30 from the First
Reformed church.
The deceased whose maiden name was Minnie Ladwig, was born in Germany 79 years
ago and in early life came to this country with her parents, settling in
Manitowoc. Here she was married to Frederick Hinz who passed away several years
ago. A family of seven children, four daughters and three sons, survive. They
are Mrs. Albert Zenk, Mrs. William Strodhoff, Mrs. Walter Schmidt and Mrs. Edwin
Luecker, all of this city, Dr. A. Hinz, Milwaukee, Walter, of Oshkosh and Richard
Hinz. Two brothers, August Ladwig, of New London, Wis., and Fred Ladwig of this
city and ten grandchildren also survive.
