JOHN 'JACK' C. KADERABEK

John "Jack" C. Kaderabek, age 82, of 1717 Fleetwood Dr., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, July 1, 2006,at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish-Waldo Boulevard site. The Rev. Dan Felton will celebrate the Mass of Christian burial with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Jack was born Nov. 6, 1923, at Branch, son of the Charles and Erma Shimek Kaderabek. He was educated in the Manitowoc Public School System, graduating form (sic) Lincoln High School with the class of 1941. Jack served in the U.S. Army with the 217th Field Artillery Battalion from February of 1942 until October 1945 in the European Theatre of War. He was employed by the First National Bank of Manitowoc from 1946-1964 and also owned and operated Baldwins Mens Wear from 1965-1989. On Sept. 16, 1950, he was married to the former Ann L. Reindl at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Survivors include his wife: Ann of Manitowoc; four sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas (Ana) Kaderabek of Miami, Fla.; Richard (Christie) Kaderabek of rural Reedsville; Donald (Susan) Kaderabek of Manitowoc; Jim (Jane) Kaderabek of Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Julie (Keith) Higbee of Madison, Conn.; 12 grandchildren: Christopher (Sharon) Kaderabek; McKenzie Kaderabek; Ashley, Daniele and Cody Kaderabek; Eric, Dana and Shelia Kaderabek; Katherine and Lauren Kaderabek; Spencer and Kayla Higbee; two great-grandchildren: Shane and Hase Kaderabek; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Ruth (Benno) Steuer of Branch; Gene Kane of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by four sisters: Leona Kasten; Apoline Hablewitz; Laura Lex; Ludmilla Kaderabek; four brothers: Alois, Charles, Otto and Eugene Kaderabek; two brothers-in-law: Edward Reindl and Lois Reindl; and one sister-in-law: Helen Popelar.
Relatives and friends may call at the Jens, Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home at 1122 S. Eight St., Manitowoc, on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10-11 a.m. Memorial donations in Jack's name would be appreciated to Roncalli High School.
