Funeral services for Mrs. Mathias Kretch, 79, who died in this city Saturday afternoon, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pfeffer funeral home, the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Kretsch, nee Catherine Schwalenberg, was born in Meeme in 1866 and was married to Mr. Kretsch in 1883. He survives with six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lenz and Mrs. Henry Bushmann, of this city, Mrs. Arthur Melhorn, of the state of California, Mrs. Robert Kieckhefer, of the state of Washington, Mrs. Andrew Diels of Plymouth, Mrs. Philip Mauer of Kiel; and five sons, Hubert and Albert of this city, Daniel of rural route, Manitowoc, Frank of Kiel, Matt, of Oregon; four sisters, Mrs. Louis Voss and Mrs. William Voss, of route 1, Cleveland, Mrs. Herman Zill of Sheboygan, Mrs. Fred. A. Arnold of Kiel; 33 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
