Ernest Krueger, 64, a resident of this city until three years ago when he took
over operation of a filling station at Shoto, died Sunday noon at Shoto. He
died while sitting in a chair in the filling station.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock from the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home with the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Interment
will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr.Krueger was born at Newton on Sept. 13, 1878, a son of the late Carl and
Augusta Huebner Krueger. On August 24, 1910 he married Miss Emma Boldt and lived
in this city until moving to Shoto three years ago.
Survivors are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Emil Khail, city, Mrs. Lester Dassey,
Two Rivers, and Mrs. Victor Wolf of Wittenberg; three brothers, Carl of Newton,
Herman of Capac, Michigan, and Fred of Kenosha; one sister, Mrs. August Gennrich,
city and nine grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Tuesday to the time of the
funeral.
