Raymond (Ray K) Krumrey, age 78, a resident of 1485 N. Seventh St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, Friday, June 13 at 11 a.m. Deacon Paul Kieffer will officiate. Military graveside rites will be accorded by Otto Oas VFW Post #659 at Evergreen Cemetery, following the funeral service. Ray was born Feb. 1, 1925 in the town of Newton, to the late Richard and Alvina Rehme Krumrey. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 through 1946. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1950 through 1956. He was a member of Otto Oas VFW Post #659. For 24 years, he was employed by the Braun Building Center, Manitowoc, retiring in 1987. Survivors include a brother: Arvin Krumrey of Juneau; a sister: Erma Schroeder of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law: Louise Krumrey of Manitowoc; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Arnold and Alfred Krumrey; and two sisters: Ella Archambeau and Erla Yelemene. Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m.
