ROY LAMACH

Roy G. Lamach, 53, of 1839 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Saturday at Urbanek and Schlie Funeral Home and at 10 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. E.A. Radey will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Lamach was born May 19, 1913 at Two Rivers, son of the late Frank and Christina Moseler Lamach. He married Marion Zipperer Nov. 24, 1949, and the couple located at Whitelaw and moved to Manitowoc in 1958. He was employed by the Cato cheese factory, Lakeside Packing Co., and for 15 years by Kasper Construction Co. He was a baseball and basketball fan and umpired in the Manitowoc County Baseball League. He served in the U.S. Navy from June 25, 1945, until ???, as a seaman, first class.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Jeanne, at home and Mrs. Fred (Eunice) Wotruba of Manitowoc, a brother, Clarence Jerabek, of Manitowoc and a grandchild. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Friday where at 8 pm the Rosary will be recited.
