Roland (Red) C. LeClair, 77, of 2000 Johnston Drive, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, February 27, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. William Zimmer with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born February 4, 1913, at Two Rivers, Wisconsin, son of the late Albert and Anna Duerschmidt LeClair. He graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the Class of 1931. He was a long-time employee of Invincible Furniture Company, Manitowoc, retiring in 1969. He married Evelyn Genske, May 28, 1937, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She preceded him in death September 3, 1980. Mr. LeClair was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include three children, Claude (Sharon) LeClair of Fredoina, Gerald (Evelyn) LeClair of Manitowoc, Ann (Jemes) Becker of Merill (sic); ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Mark (Elaine) LeClair and Howard (Florence) LeClair all of Manitowoc; a sister, Bernice Schwahert of Two Rivers; other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Wednesday evening where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. led by Rev. Zimmer.
