Erwin Lloyd (Sonny) Miller, age 69, of 1517 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday,
August 14, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Private Family Service of Comfort will be held at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
Thursday, August 18, 1994, with cremation having taken place and burial at
Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born September 9, 1924, in Manitowoc, son of the late Erwin and Evelyn
Frosh Miller. He attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High
School in 1942. He entered the Armed Forces during World War II in 1943. He was
one of many who landed on Utah Beach on D Day. He married Leulla Selle, July 2,
1949, in Manitowoc. He was employed at Manitowoc Engineering Company for 45
years. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #706, Amvets Post #99 and Machinists
Local #516.
He is survived by his wife, Leulla, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra
and Terry Krajnek, Branch; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Lois Miller,
Manitowoc; a sister and two brothers-in-law, Elayne and Clarence Radke, Arvada,
Colo., Joseph Malinauskas, Md.; three grandchildren, Phil, Rob and Kristin Krajnek,
all of Branch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was
preceded in death by two sisters, Adeline and Natalie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Fund.
Jens Funeral Home and Crematory assisted with the funeral arrangements.
